Meta sets how many different people your number can message every 24 hours β it is the Sending limit shown in WhatsApp Connection, from 50 to 100,000 recipients per day, or unlimited. A campaign larger than the limit does not have to be split by hand: SendFast sends what fits now and the rest as the limit frees up.
Example: Loja Bem Viver's number has a limit of 1,000 recipients per day, and the VIP customers group has 1,400 contacts.
How SendFast shows what is available
In the campaign's Audience step, the summary shows Available (24h): how many recipients the limit still allows, minus those who got messages from you in the last 24 hours. If the audience fits, you see "Within the number's limit.". If it does not, the summary says how many are above it and that they can be sent in waves.
The window is rolling: each send "frees" its slot 24 hours after it was made, not at midnight.
If Meta has not reported a limit for the number yet β right after connecting, for example β, the campaign is blocked with "The number has no sending limit available yet. Connect or sync the WhatsApp account to continue." Use Sync in WhatsApp Connection.
When the list exceeds the limit
When you confirm the send, the The list exceeds the limit available now window shows Available now, List total and Not fitting now β in the example, 1,000, 1,400 and 400. There are two options:
Send in waves until all are done
It is the default option. The 1,000 that fit go out now and the other 400 go out automatically as the 24-hour limit frees up, respecting the campaign's time window, if any.
Set the Waves deadline (it comes one week ahead). If the deadline arrives with people still waiting, the campaign ends as Stopped, with the reason Sending deadline reached, and the pending recipients become available under Resend unsent. The deadline keeps a Black Friday deal from reaching someone two weeks later.
During the waves, the campaign shows as Sending, the list shows In waves Β· 400 waiting and, in the report, those who have not received it yet show as On hold.
Send only the ones that fit now
Sends the 1,000 available and ends the campaign. The remaining 400 show as Canceled in the report and can be sent later with Resend unsent. This option is only for immediate sends, not for scheduled campaigns. If nothing fits now (the limit is used up, or it is outside the time window), use waves.
What can hold or end the waves
- Number disconnected β waves stop, and the campaign stays paused until you reconnect and resume.
- Temporary pause from Meta on the number β sending waits and continues on its own when the pause ends.
- Number quality at Low β the campaign ends as Stopped, with the reason Number quality dropped, so the number's situation does not get worse. Pending recipients go to resend.
A Stopped campaign cannot be resumed; the way forward is the resend, when it makes sense.
How the limit grows
Meta is the one that raises the limit, usually as the number sends regularly and keeps good quality. Messages people want to receive, with the SAIR button respected, help; lots of blocks and reports do the opposite. Follow it in Number health, on the Dashboard.
Where to go next
- Create and send a campaign β the audience summary and the time window.
- Follow, pause and resend β statuses and resending the unsent.
- Dashboard β usage in the last 24 hours and the quality and limit history.
In short: the number's limit counts different recipients over a rolling 24 hours, the campaign summary shows how much is still available, and a larger list can go out in waves until a deadline or only to those who fit now, with the rest always available for resend.
