Getting started with WiseData NPS

3 min read12

Welcome to WiseData NPS, the platform to listen to your customers with NPS, CSAT, CES and other surveys, delivered via Email, WhatsApp and Embed. The good news: you don't need to set up servers or anything technical β€” just build the survey, send it and track the responses. This guide walks you through the whole path.

Step 1: Build your survey

In Surveys, click to create a new survey. Creation is guided by a 5-step wizard, and you move through it at your own pace:

  1. Type β€” choose the survey type (NPS, CSAT, CES and others). Each type has its own question and scale.
  2. Configuration β€” give the survey a title and adjust the main question and the language.
  3. Customization β€” make the survey match your brand (logo and color) and set up follow-up questions based on the respondent's score.
  4. Channels β€” choose how the survey will be sent (Email, WhatsApp or Embed) and, when applicable, the contact list.
  5. Scheduling β€” decide when to send (now or scheduled) and finish.

At any time you can Save the survey as a draft and come back later β€” it only starts sending once you activate it.

Step 2: Send a test and activate

Before sending to your base, it's worth seeing exactly what the customer will receive. Use Send test to deliver the survey to your own email or WhatsApp and check the result.

Two important things to activate the survey:

  • If you're sending via Email or WhatsApp, you must have sent a test first β€” so you never blast anything broken to your base.
  • You must accept the consent (data protection). Without it, the survey is not activated.

With the test done and the consent accepted, just activate it. From then on, the survey starts being sent according to the schedule.

Step 3: Track the results

As soon as responses start coming in, you track everything in real time: the survey score, the distribution of ratings, the comments and the evolution over time. Those with AI features also see comments classified by sentiment and grouped by theme, and those using alerts are notified when a detractor appears β€” to act before it becomes a problem.

Next steps

Once you're comfortable with the basics, dive into the specific guides:

  • Understanding NPS and metrics β€” what the score means and how it's calculated.
  • Survey types β€” which to use at each moment (NPS, CSAT, CES, eNPS and more).
  • Sending channels β€” how to set up Email, WhatsApp and the Embed widget on your site.
  • Contacts β€” how to build lists, import via CSV and validate contacts before sending.
  • Results and reports β€” how to read, filter and export the data.

In short: build the survey through the Type, Configuration, Customization, Channels and Scheduling steps; send a test to yourself; accept the consent and activate; then track the results. With that, you already master the essentials of WiseData NPS.
