Getting started with SendFast

SendFast sends WhatsApp campaigns from your business number: you prepare the message, choose who receives it and follow delivery, reads and clicks for each person. The menu follows the order of the work β€” Audience (Contacts and Groups), Content (Templates and Media library) and Sending (Campaigns and WhatsApp Connection) β€”, but a new account moves faster in a slightly different order, because Meta's template review takes a while.

This guide's example is Camila, owner of Loja Bem Viver, preparing the Black Friday campaign for her VIP customers.

1. Connect the number

In WhatsApp Connection, connect your business number through the Meta window. If you already serve customers with this number in the WhatsApp Business app, use I already use this number on WhatsApp Business: the app keeps working on the phone and campaigns start going out through SendFast. This step is done by someone with the Admin role.

When done, check the number card for Quality and Sending limit β€” how many different people the number can message per day.

2. Create the template β€” and let Meta review it

In Templates, click New template and build the message: header (text, image, video or PDF), body with variables such as the customer's name, footer and buttons. The SAIR button is added to every template automatically. Click Create template: it goes to Under review.

Do this early. While Meta reviews it, you get ahead on the next steps, and the account owner gets an email when the template is approved.

If the message has a link button and you want to know who clicked, first set up Click tracking in WhatsApp Connection and turn the option on in the button.

3. Bring in your contacts

In Contacts, use Import to bring in the customer spreadsheet (CSV or Excel). Choose the phone column, the name column and the columns that become custom fields β€” Camila brought in cidade to use in the message. The review shows valid and invalid numbers before saving.

Only include people who agreed to receive your messages. Anyone who asks to leave through the SAIR button is left out of every later campaign, automatically.

4. Split them into groups

In Groups, create the audiences you will use. You can choose the group during the import, or filter the contact list and use Add to group. Camila created VIP customers.

5. Build and send the campaign

With the template Approved, open Campaigns β€Ί New campaign and follow the steps: template, variables (link each one to the name, phone, a custom field or a fixed value), media, audience, schedule and review. The audience summary shows how many will be reached and how many were left out. If the list is bigger than the number's daily limit, SendFast offers to send in waves.

Choose Send now or Schedule and, if you like, restrict sending hours so nobody gets a message in the middle of the night.

6. Follow up

Click the campaign's name to open the report: sent, delivered, read, clicked, failed and one row per contact. The Dashboard adds up every campaign in the period and shows the number's health. Those who did not receive it can be reached later with Resend unsent.

Who does what in the team

The Admin does everything, including connecting the number, deleting records and reopening a contact's consent. A Member creates contacts, groups, templates and campaigns and follows the results.

Where to go next

  • WhatsApp Connection β€” connecting the number, drops and click tracking.
  • Templates β€” building and approving messages.
  • Contacts and Groups β€” the base and the audiences.
  • Campaigns β€” sending, dealing with the limit and following up.
  • Dashboard β€” the numbers for every campaign.

In short: connect the number, create the template early so Meta reviews it while you import contacts and build groups, send the campaign with the approved template and follow it in the report and on the Dashboard.
